Develop Your Leader Armor, Soft Skills for Hard Results

Harvard University, the Carnegie Foundation, and Stanford Research Center have each conducted research, and all concluded that 85% of job success comes from having well‐developed people skills (soft skills) and only 15% of job success comes from technical skills and knowledge (hard skills).

Police officers wear body armor to protect them while they protect others.  They are also equipped with tools to enable them to perform their duties effectively.  These tools are worn on their belts, so they always have access to them.  We apply the metaphor of body armor and tools to the leaders in your organization.  Instead of body armor, we will equip your leaders with the armor of soft-skills such as self-awareness.  This armor will protect your organization from toxic leadership.   Self-aware leaders are then equipped with tools to increase their influence and make a dramatic impact on the team they lead.

Dr. Pallas offers training classes to equip you and your leaders with the following tools:

    ► Listening and communication
    ► Understanding personality types
    ► Dynamic team leadership
► Leadership skills for new and upcoming managers
► Advanced leadership skills for experienced managers
► Understanding stress and raising resilience
► Increasing effectiveness through emotional intelligence
    ► Leadership Game- team assessment

The Gallup Organization concluded only 10% of people are born with some natural leadership ability. This does not mean they are born leaders, but they are born with some natural traits and leadership ability, they have a head start.  The bad news is 90% of the leaders in your organization were not born with this natural ability.   The good news, for everyone, is leadership is a set of skills that can be learned.  Leadership ability can be improved with training.
